Something else to understand?

I took a bit of thought into this too: If we can't use meta decks for testing, why bother with a presenting a side deck? In real life, I side depending on my locals. For testing, we should side depending on what we are going to play against. But if we can't play against meta or as meta, it's difficult to build a proper side to what we are going to what we will be playing against.

edit: I kind of wanted to have this with my test results.

well the thing is meta is something your gonna see alot so we base your side deck on what it should be countering in this case meta and a proper side deck can counter alot of decks but some side decks just look plain bad and won't counter anything you see.

This is true. I am not against this. However, in testing, we are not allowed to use meta. Most, not all, of anything regional level or higher is tier 1 or tier 1.5. I have my side against that stuff. I do not have side against Aliens or Junk Synchro. (I kinda do have stuff mainboard to deal with those decks anyway, as my mainboard hits a lot of decks.)

I think you are misinterpreting. Most people only side against meta. Not against what we are being tested against for a dorm score. Baby Raccoon is not a big deck. It's a thing. It's not meta. It's not really big. It doesn't top consistently (except maybe at some random, irrelevant locals.)
